Criterias for Cage Free Boarding
dogs must be well socialized
no aggression problems
Be fully vaccinated prior to their stay (see list below)
Must be housetrained ie: do their business outside, (puppies under 8 months are the exception, accidents happen)
We accept dogs that are intact but we will REFUSE entry to female dogs at our facility during their heat cycle, for safety reasons.
Please note that we presently offer in-home cage-free boarding. Future expansion plans for 2012 will include a separate 25x50 heated (including heated flooring) and A/C building for the dogs with enlarged fenced play area. Construction to begin in the spring of 2012. The building will also be Cage-Free.
Prior to their stay at Dog Resort, your dog is required to pass a temperament assessment. An appointment must be made for a “Meet & Greet” with your pet to ensure that the above requirements are met. All pets are checked for temperament before we commit to looking after them. Please call ahead to book a visit.
We do NOT accept dogs that have nasty dispositions and are prone to bite.
It takes time to process new boarders, and we prefer earlier check-ins. We keep track of no-shows and frequent cancellations, and being a discriminating kennel, we will not accept their pet(s) the next time they call.
All dogs are required to be vaccinated (including Bordatella) a minimum of ten (10) days prior to Boarding if vaccinations not up-to-date.
Vaccinations
All canine guests must be fully vaccinated for the following:
Bordatella (Kennel Cough)
Rabies
Distemper
Parvovirus
Hepatitis
Leptospirosis
Parainfluenza
All vaccination documents must be signed by a veterinarian and shown at the Meet & Greet. *PLEASE NOTE: You must request the Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccination in addition to the regular vaccines you receive from your vet.*
